Wearer Perspective Apparel Design

While working under the direction of Under Armour graphic designers Jeremy Doan and Meredith Cole, I was prompted to create a set of three t-shirts: one with typography, one with photography, and one with elements of my choosing. The target audience for the series is the athlete who works out alone and derives motivation from their own will. The shirts display designs with messages exclusive to the wearer's vision.
ABOUT THE PROJECT

While working under the direction of two Under Armour graphic design employees, I was tasked to create a set of three t-shirts: one with typography, one with photography, and one miscellaneous. This line of shirts is for the solo athlete, who derives her motivation from within herself. All of the designs grow from and span beyond a single line, symbolizing that an athlete's work does not end at the finish line. Inverted imagery and geometric forms mimic an upward climb even as the wearer looks down.
