This is a logo for a personal business that does custom paintings and specializes in decorative wine glasses for special events. The client wanted a playful, classy logo with a girl who looked like her, relaxing or painting in a wine glass. A selection of preferred colors was also provided. 


These were my first designs given the guidelines:

The selection was narrowed by the client to a mixture of elements (dress style, body position, glass color)  from the options above, and a handwritten font choice was selected. For one of the text treatments (option 1 below), I mocked the shape of a stemless wine glass with the letters G and J. 

And below, we have the winner! A cute and classy Glass of Jo.
