Herbert Loureiro, (known among his friends as herbie) is a visual artist from Alagoas. He was part of EL PATIO before it even existed. In research he searches for uncomplicated and humorous ideas, with a vocation for pop and a strong narrative character. He uses cultural symbols of northeastern Brazil, such as folklore and local language, and mixes them with contemporary scenarios and fashion.
