ATC - The Tradition Continues



For this commercial for the Australian Turf Club’s annual Autumn Carnival, the request was made for the now infamous double-exposure technique, in order to merge the old with new and highlight over 150 years of Australian racing history.
Two worlds are brought together by taking modern imagery of fashion, timelapses of the racecourse, and jockeys striving for a win, and overlaying these with historic racing images of fashion, jockeys, and crowds. The archival images were projected to give them depth, and combined with a pastel colour palette and iconic images of Sydney Rosehill Gardens/Randwick racecourses.
