Left Column: Sections were taped on the objects and initially measured using a graphite rub against the flat painted surface. This was then measured with a ruler to create the initial 'flat' surface of the sections. The still life was then photographed from the back and front perpendicular to the section cut. These were then used and measured to create the two drawn sections. They were then transferred to Rhino and intersected in their proper locations.
Right Column: Five more photos were taken of the still life, including back, front, left, right and top. These were all measured at the exact same distance from the edge of the board. They were then intersected in Rhino and points were found in space. They were then randomly connected in an open loop. This random connection created the basis for the following steps in the project.
