    TV commercial for AppGear Akodomon line of toys.
To promote the 'AppGear' toy line we created a series of commercials that followed the same structure. Each story starts with a child walking into a room the same color as the games brand color. Once the child starts the game the world transitions into the game world. When the child triumphs and celebrates, the worlds returns to normal. For the Akodomon title we expanded on the playful nature of interacting with the characters through augmented reality by having them reveal in the real world to battle the game's villains. The spot's climax (or anti-climax) gag is when the mom yells "playtimes over" as a battle is about to begin. For continuity each spot starts with the same hollow drum beats and ends with the brand tone.
