Create a typeface with a specific goal.
Solution
Being engaged at the time, I was in search of a typeface to use for my wedding. My fiancée and I wanted an untraditional, relaxed wedding but all the typefaces to choose from were far too generic or elegant. Realizing that there is an entire subculture of artistic and eclectic, betrothed couples, I decided to draw inspiration from American Traditional tattoo lettering. My goal was to create a typeface that was both rustic and bohemian, therefore earning the name Rustemia.
