Botanica is an ongoing micro-photography collection which documents flora found in parks and gardens. Some of the photographs have been altered in order to show details and elements which cannot be seen with the naked eye. The natural habitat and sunlight play important roles both in the contrast of the pictures and also in the survival of the species, which happens to be the theme of this collection. The change of seasons brings transformation to the landscape as well as a cycle of growth and decline that underlines the fragility of life.
