How Photoshop & Sketch
changed web design in 2016
Most design reports focus on the little things - hamburger menus, dramatic typography or the use of illustrations. This is not one of them. We're more interested in the bigger picture.
We want to know about the most extreme shifts in the design file structure. So we analyzed a layer stack of over 1,000,000 Photoshop and Sketch designs.
It's amazing what a decrease of bitmaps, blending modes or drop shadows can tell you when you put it in perspective of design file size or versioning. If you dig data driven design like we do, you might want to check out what we found out.
