The objective was to create a book cover for the biography of Hayao Miyazaki, written by his son, Goro Miyazaki. Miyazaki is a Japanese manga artist, as well as the director and animator of many popular anime films. This book cover features illustrations of characters of his films: ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, ‘Spirited Away’, ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, and ‘Ponyo’. My mission was to feature illustrations of some of his most famous characters in a clean, simple design.
