I have, for as long as I can remember, been inspired and loved the aesthetic behind 80s movie posters. There is just something about the artwork from that time that I love. Most of it is not the stereotypical grainy cyber punk, neon looking stuff; but it is all cool nonetheless.

A lot of my previous artwork (mostly vector based) used a magenta/dark blue color scheme as kind of an ode to the 80s cyber punk theme. However, it never really captured the feel, and never had the subject matter to fit. So, I finally set out to create a proper piece.

Like many of my other art pieces, I always notice things that can be improved upon or refined after I have labeled it "complete". This one is no exception. I guess I will just have to take what I learned while creating this, and apply it to the next piece.
