Can cardboard bend? And how? 

The idea for bend series was to make a bend shape from flat sheets of cardboard.

The bend 01 and bend 02 armchairs are made out of 2cm thick cardboard sheets. 
Their shape is a result of slicing, bending and then sticking together several layers of material. 
As a result we get a rigid structure without the need to use other materials. 

The armchairs are easy to assemble and can be shipped in flat sheets. 
The thickness of each sheet can vary, depending on the desired height.
