I highly anticipated this Editorial class - and I didn’t get disappointed. I really really like editorial work, as much as I find it one of the most difficult tasks in Graphic Design.

We were assigned to redesign the Spanish cinema magazine called “Dirigido por”, creating a new identity, several title pages, and a couple of spreads and interior pages.

I learned a lot. Layout, typography, grids - and most importantly the continuity of all that throughout the whole magazine. How you structure the information has to work throughout hundreds of pages.

It’s ever since that I started to use grids actively, and I always try to apply them in most areas of design.
