Concept:

Create a work of art based with inspiration from Henrik Ibsen's theater piece A Dolls House in a modern setting. I chose to focus on the main concept of the piece, the role of women? Femininity? What is accepted? What is not accepted and to take inspiration from the main character Nora, that broke the 19th-century attitude toward marriage norms. 

My modern inspiration is Harnaam Kaur a 25 year old woman from London.

She has polycystic ovany syndrome which means she has extra hair growth in her face. Since she was 16 years old, she has let her beard grow and refused to be part of the oppressed vision of femininity and norm.
