Frustrated by the lack of pickled turnip products on the supermarket and deli shelves we decided to produce our own.
These pickled turnips are one of our favourite falafel accompaniments. The label design is inspired by the classic whimsical and overly ornate packaging of the early 20th century. References to Byzantine and Arabic patterns hint at the origin of this product.
We choose a vibrant but restricted colour palette that could easily be reproduced through the screen printing process.
