First published in 1982, "The Book of Disquiet" is composed of hundreds of fragments which Fernando Pessoa published only twelve. It's an unconventional masterpiece to understand Pessoa's extensive influence in creating the contemporary notion of the individual.
Oscillating between themes such as the variations in his psychic state, passions, morals and knowledge, the book does not present a linear narrative; rather, it is composed of several stretches and parts that articulate in a more or less open way.
This project explores the word "disquiet" link to the narrator's existential anguish but also to his refusal to stay still and its fragmentary characteristic since many of the texts and quotes are unfinished due to the peculiar and difficult calligraphy of the author.
