Here is where Dreams come True!
This is clearly one of my most ambitious projects to date. I started by doing a study of two of the VR systems that I could get HTC-Vive and Oculus Rift. Learning how it works and what I can do with it! Some of the study I have made videos on YouTube.
Work Updates
Here are some of the latest work that I am doing in VR. I will update this section from time to time, so stay tuned!
My VR Lab in VR
Here is an example of one of my strangest projects yet - My VR Lab in VR. I made this model for this webpage and someone commented that I was making a VR game of one of my two VR Labs that I use (in this case my Oculus Lab). So I took it up as my VR Project during the week of GDC when I had some free time.
Here is my take on Job Simulator in the form of a demo of a VR demo that you can use Oculus Touch to move these objects around.
Here was my work space during my project. As you can see, I was using my laptop that had a graphics card docking port attached. This is barely adequate for the task, but this was acquired before the requirements for VR was set and I was a very early adopter of the technology. I have since added a desktop system that meets requirements. 
Here is one of the objects of the scene that is being moved by the user. as you can see, the avatar hand on the side that's holding the keyboard.
Here is some of the YouTube videos that I have made experimenting with the VR headsets, virtual hand controls and Avatars. 
This is my study of the Oculus Rift Avatar SDK that was released after the release of Oculus Touch. 
This was an early test of Oculus Rift under Unity! I used the Blacksmith due to the character complexity. This is the same model that was used in the Unity 5 demo back in 2014. 
Unity's EditorVR platform Study
This is where I will put data from my Unity EditorVR platform study. It will also morph into the VR Demo Project.
The VR Demo Project
Now that I have a good understanding of how Virtual Reality works, it is time to make a demo project that has some practical application. For this I have created The VR Character Lab: a plugin application of Unity EditorVR platform, this will provide a more practical test of what is my vision for VR in the workplace. In this case, a better model tool for the content creator to us to make more effective rigs for character assets.     
Here is the basic layout for The VR Character Lab. I will hopefully have more on this soon.
