S3R: This project was inspired by my love for music, I wanted to explore some possible design features and aesthetics under the visual brand language of Polk Audio.

During my initial ideation, I wanted to create a speaker that had the option of holding your smartphone while playing music. I also wanted to tackle the issue of pinched charging cables.
Finalizing the features of the S3R led me to focus on an inductive charging surface for your smartphone, a charging port tucked underneath the speaker, bluetooth connectivity, and a control touch bar.
The final design focuses on a classy matt black finish paired with copper accents and a fun yet sophisticated speaker grill.
The Polk Audio logo is utilized as an indication as to where you place your smartphone for conductive charging.
