Designed for modern women with big ideas and creativity, the MaxMara Spring/Summer 2017 Collection offers a new mix of sensual modernity inspired by Lina Bo Bardi. Architect, designer and intellectual, Bo Bardi was connected to Tropicalia, the avant-garde cultural movement that influenced her concrete and glass structures, which would seem incomplete without the rain forest that grows in and around them. The thriving flora and the precise geometry have been the inspiration for us to create a set where, with some lines of her architecture, the accessories were immersed in a tropical world of shadows and lights, in balance between the wild nature and her rough but elegant and simple forms.
