My design is a minimalist running shoe. Using the idea of a nylon compression sock as a light-weight shoe, I was able to use the phylon insole as the main support structure of the shoe. Injection molded rubber pods that are connected to the insole come through the holes on the bottom of the sock. The insole is interchangeable, giving the wearer the option of different color ways. My design is an inexpensive solution to minimalist running.
