Gordon College Student Design Agency Rebrand

I served as Assistant Director of the Gordon College Student Design Agency (SDA) for the spring and fall semesters of 2016.  The SDA is a student-run organization that does design work for students on the Gordon College campus.  One of my tasks as Assistant Director was rebranding the agency for the fall semester.
I wanted to make the logo really minimal but memorable.  We refer to ourselves as the SDA, and our logo in the past has relied heavily on that acronym, so I played around with building these letters in different ways.
I also wanted the logo to be represented in multiple different colors, emphasizing our versatility as an agency.
To go for a minimal, striking approach, I ended up just focusing on the "S" and the "D."
We eventually settled on this as our final design.  The vertical orientation is our default, but the horizontal orientation is also used when necessary.
Our main colors are blue, directly connecting us with Gordon College (whose colors are also blue), but we still maintained many other color schemes to keep our advertising interesting and eye-catching.
Other members of the agency created their own color schemes, which we used in a poster campaign announcing our rebrand.
A new website was also created by our director Chloe Larson with the new brand, allowing people to submit jobs to the agency and apply for positions.
Visit the site: sda.gordon.edu
Finally, I created a brand book to help keep the SDA brand consistent in future years.
Special thanks to Chloe Larson, Director of the SDA, all the SDA Designers, and the Gordon College Design Center for helping us with our poster problems.
