It all started when I received an email from LSE Middle East Centre (London) to participate in their upcoming photography exhibition on November this year. The exhibition will spot the light on "What the life is looking like for young people in their cities". At the beginning it was challenging for me to show the best example of how the young people life is looking like in my country (Bahrain) because nowadays people prefer to shop in malls, hangout in restaurants, spend time watching movies rather than go out for fishing or swimming or any sort of activities that we used to do in the past.
The idea has finally poped-up into mind. Experimenting silhouette photography was always something I wanted to do. As a former athlete I had to know a lot of athletes during my daily training, fortunately I'm still hanging out with some of them, so it wasn't that difficult to find a fit model. I combined the two elements together 1.Experimenting shooting against the sun and 2.Adding the athletics experience in my photographs.
