Walmart
Style guides are to brands as laws are to citizens. Without them, all chaos will break loose. Up until the last couple years, Walmart had existing brand guidelines for the Walmart brand, but not for the most historic icon of their brand – Sam Walton. Pouring over truck loads after truck loads full of content, including photographs, audio and video files, quotes, books and written notes, I was able to organize and create a rather extensive style guide for the use of Sam and his image.
