Dekino is a name for a new festival to take place in September 2016
for the first time. Dekino means «where are the movies» in ukrainian.
This festival celebrates new formats and encourages to participate and
shoot a short on your iPhone, whether it is an original writing or a short remake, tribute or a music video.

Key goal of the festival is to leave the legacy alone and start the industry
from the scratch with small steps – that is the main theme of visual language: many elements behind every project overlaying classic ukrainian film icons
like Dovzhenko and Paradzhanov with fresh ideas and techniques while still considering them as a background and beacon for new beginnings.
