This is a film project i co-directed with french musician FRAMIX, that we shot in Nantes, France in 2012.

Dipped in the 1950’s innocence and enthusiasm, Candy and Billy have to face the lies and illusions of this world.
“Stuck in a Cruel World” is an invigorating roadtrip
in the teenage years of our modern world,
reaching today its breakpoint.
This short movie extends through frames Framix’s technicolor album, released in 2012 and aired on FIP, Radio Nova, France Inter, Arte Live, Le Mouv’, ...
Fascinated by 1950’s America,
François Michel and David Couliau have embarked themselves in 2012 in the making of this musical film, adapted from Framix’s album: “Stuck in a Cruel World”.
Supported by an amazing team and with a really low budget, they undertook the challenge of giving life to a real small world, a wandering space for Candy and Billy, young lovers with a mysteriously threatened existence..."
