This project initially started with an idea regarding desire of power and the the gifting of power and the powerless. The gold and gold writing represents the desire of power and gifting of the power, the masks and the blindfolds represent the powerless, the dark and light represent the good and bad. After toying with the idea, i didn't want the fashion to stand out to much, even though they are amazing brands, like comme des garcons and tom ford, i wanted the fashion muted and not to distract from the message, only to add to it. The only thing that was done in post was removing the fishing line for the crown, boosting contrast and cleaning up background (in the white).
