School assignment. Project to raise awareness for an environmental problem.

Worldwide millions of people are affected with the consequences of drought. Due to a lack of water people are not able to cultivate their own food or to supply themselves of drinking water. 

I exposured this problem by creating dor-stig. The project started as a dry and lifeless landscape. What passerby's didn't knew was that there were plenty of seeds hidden under this landscape. People were asked tot give it - the landscape - water. During one week, the landscape transformed slowly form a lifeless landscape to a green one, full of life. This way passerby's got the chance to encounter the force of water. The idea behind this project is that a small amount of water is enough to create some beautiful life. People could also experience this idea at home, by taking the leaflet home, which also contained seeds, home.
