Thriving Life Therapeutic Garden

The Thriving Life Garden supports the clients and staff of Thriving Heart Healing Associates by providing spaces for different stages of health. The design of the garden is guided by the universal metaphor of a seed being planted (centering), growing with sunlight (illumination), and reaching its full potential (expanding).

These different states of being are supported by spaces with various levels of enclosure, sensory experience, elevation, and scale, ranging from private woodland clearings to an expansive lawn. The tree house is a multi-use destination for personal reflection, therapy sessions, and play.

Raised beds and a mural wall along Moreland provide opportunities to engage with local community organizations such as the Atlanta Community Garden, churches, schools or local arts organizations.
