For my first Kickstarter campaign - The Spotting Chart Project - I launched a series of custom printed 16" x 20" posters designed to look like authentic World War II military-issued plane spotting charts. There were three initial sets in the series ( Pacific Theater of Operations, European Theater of Operations, and the North African Campaign ) but during the course of the Kickstarter project, two other sets were added : Britain and the Burma Campaign.
I'll be posting more of the designs as I make them!

Each of these prints were digitally made using graphics from original spotting booklets issued by the United States Information of War Department ( top top secret stuff ). They were arranged six designs per poster to pay homage to the charts I saw initially in the background in the 1963 comedy "Father Goose" starring Cary Grant.
