The Syrian Civil war has many conflicting sides, all fight to gain the upper hand and have their way.
But while those struggle for dominance, over half a million civilians, combatants and foreign fighters have been killed.
Under the eye of modern media, this conflict might be the first complex and tragic civil war unfolding in our era, the information age.
Atir Singer and myself wanted to find out how the different interests of the conflict are visible through media outlets, and what can be learned from that.
This project was done during the "Infographic Live" in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem
