An early project to make a hand engraving tool. The handle is turned from 316 stainless steel and bubinga wood, with an engraved brass insert. A stainless steel 6-32 set screw holds the engraving tools in place. The engraving tools themselves are made of W1 tool steel, heat treated in my home-made forge.
