Story of an hour_Interactive Design
Brief
Create an interactive video of 2-6 minutes using a narrative of your choice. Your narrative structure must support the communication goal of your interactive video.
Concept
The interactive video is based on Kate Chopin’s “Story of an hour” about a sickly wife wo briefly believes her husband is dead and imagines whole new life of freedom to herself. By means of the narrative structure the viewer is exposed to the following: present obligations following traditional gender roles, past marriage memories, what it means to be attached, as well as thoughts on the character’s future freedom. In the course of the video the viewer is also confronted with the inevitable ironic turns of life.
