The intent with this graphic was to put out what information National Restaurant Association research had on technology use in the restaurant industry. The scope is broad and many numbers are hypothetical. This graphic was created specifically to appear on mashable.com – and it did in May of 2012. http://mashable.com/2012/05/14/technology-in-restaurants. When a designer is working on a presentation piece like this there is a want/need to write/re-write/edit the information to make everything flow together, and I certainly did that in this case.
