For these I wanted to create black and white design posters for upcoming local AIGA events in Colorado. I wanted to use strong typographic elements and organization to create hierarchy and a creative flow within each piece. Each piece takes your eye in a different direction through the piece and showcases the information in new and exciting ways.

I felt that this one was a very strong design, but worked much better inverted where it was white text on a black background. The high contrast and curvy lines works well to engage your eye and keep you reading.

This piece has great organization and makes it a quick easy read. But also allows it be very engaging if you stay to look longer and notice the small details.

For this one I chose to do something that was more engaging than it was informative. This piece is very successful in the sense that it is extremely engaging and you want to stay longer to try and make out some of the lines. It also creates a unique shape and the way it goes off of the page makes it very intriguing.

For the color/photo posters I wanted to make the text work around the picture, but in an engaging and unique way. They were very successful in being organized well and being easy to read.
