This project aims to create a brand identity for a accessory and clothing brand for 16 year olds as the target audience. I decided to name the brand “Reflect” as metaphoric representation of 16 year olds who reflect onto the younger teens (11-15) and reflect from the older teens (17-19).
At the of 16, teenagers go through many phases and emotions and thus to explain that instability and the phase of growing up, I have used different sized blocks and a variety of colours.
My final logo consists the of lowercase of "DINCond-BoldAlternate”, as the difference in the ascenders of the letterforms in the lowercase itself produces a dynamic structure without hampering the form of the typeface and maintaining it’s legibility.
The objective of this project was to create an easily identifiable pictogram, which symbolises the brand.
