A brief example of visual stories I've had the pleasure of telling
Producing and editing video is more than just recording a moment or a message. I consider it my duty to capture an atmosphere and tell a story each and every time a video camera is put in my hands. I have produced and edited everything from higher education admissions videos to NCAA Division 1 college basketball games, all with little more than a FlipCam and simple editing software. For me, it's not necessarily about the flashy animations and high tech recording equipment, it's more about the story and the way you tell it. I love creating videos, and I want my audience to love watching them.

In 2011 I created a video meant to thank donors for all they do and to introduce them to Wofford College's incoming freshman class. The video was later used by the admissions office as a recruitment tool.

As a senior at the University of Kentucky (and the year following) I spent every men's basketball home game courtside with a camera in hand and a mission to accurately capture the atmosphere of Rupp Arena. As a side project in 2012 (long after my internship days), I made a strictly for-fun highlight video documenting the University of Kentucky's National Championship basketball season. Within 24 hours of being posted on YouTube the video was viewed over 30,000 times and featured on numerous Kentucky sports websites.
