Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Movie Poster

Keep your friends close...
Ever since it was released in 2002, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has been one of, if not my favourite games. From the moment you step into the first car and hearing Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" on the radio as you cruise down the pseudo-Miami neon lit streets of the 1980's, I was hooked.

For a long time I've wanted to create a new poster in homage to my favourite game, but haven't quiet managed to get the pieces to come together, until now.

I wanted to create a classic '80s style movie poster to fully encapsulate the feel of the game. The Hawiian shirt, pastel suits, neon lights and geometric shapes were the key features of the design, along with the use of bright, contrasting colours and retro fonts.

Featured on the poster are (l-r):
Tommy Vercetti, main protagonist and voiced by Ray Liotta.
Candy Suxxx, pornstar supporting character voiced by Jenna Jameson
Lance Vance, ally-turned-foe voiced by Phillip Michael Thomas.

This piece was created in Adobe Photoshop with the use of Huion Graphics Tablet, the result of approx. 10+ hours work.
