RESPECT THE BEARD.
Great expectations, a tiny budget and a lot of creative ambition. This is the starting point for the launch of the first barber shop campaign in Salzburg. Once again proving the point that an original idea can more than make up for a lack of budget. Instead of booking expensive city-wide advertising space, a few advertising columns in the city are pasted with real beards thus creating three-dimensional, attention-grabbing posters.

In addition, a bus shelter at a highly frequented location is turned into a barber shop for a day where the master himself offers free hair and beard trims to passers by. The response to this low-budget campaign is enormous, not only generating full-page reports in the Salzburger Nachrichten and Kronen-Zeitung newspapers but also a 4-minute report on ORF TV.
