Concept
Inspired by the zoo's existing ‘Meet the Locals’ poster designed by Tom McGuinness.
The thought behind my poster was, that by creating a series of illustrational posters that are similar in style.
It would make it easier for their audience to recognise and make the connection to the zoo, through this brand/advertising consistency.

The colour scheme of the poster was developed to suit the valentines theme through pink and red, while the purple and orange are used to represent the night/time of the event. Also, the pairs of animals used,
are romantic by nature or were in the zoo's previous event news article.
