In this very day and time, we have experienced numerous transformations in the earth’s landscape and atmosphere. Man has disrupted nature’s intended movements, overthrowing God’s great powers and creations. As technology advances along with us, it allows the boundaries between Man and the divine to be demolished, giving Man the illusion that he now stands high on the same level as the Almighty.

Manipulating the forces of the natural elements and even the behaviours of his own kind, Man is making up his own agendas, asserting his perceived supremacy over what was once respected as divine and untouchable. As we tinker with controlled cloud formation, wage wars, develop programmable zygotes and set foot into the endless abyss of the universe, we recklessly crave for new frontiers and forms of evolution without a care for the destruction we might bring upon ourselves. We know no limitations. We are always challenging ourselves and chasing new meanings, that we are losing sight of the meaning of life itself.

Chapter I: Of Prophecies and Agendas, is an inter-dimensional exploration of works that compare the grand ideologies represented by the highly revered Greek Gods — Zeus, Athena, Hades and Aphrodite, against human intentions such as cloud-seeding, wars, colonising the Universe and cloning. In this space of solitude, the Ink&Clog are collaborating with oustanding visual and sound artists: Supersystem, Yellow Mushmellow and Im_Ran to produce a new body of works that integrate both tradition and techbology, as a showcase of unity and not destruction against one another. We invite you to question that perhaps, our agendas are God’s prophecies.
