DRAKEMOJI was created as a part of the Digital Publishing course.

DRAKEMOJI is an emoji keyboard that installs itself into the iPhone keyboard and allows its users to choose from a variety of images of the influential and beloved artist Drake. Every image is generated by the users, who prior to app’s creation submitted their emoji variations.

To begin with, I’ve made a simple vector of the famous rapper Drake, that is both universally recognizable yet very moldable to change. Second, I’ve attempted to reach as many people as I could using such social platforms as Facebook and 4chan. Users were asked to contribute by altering the vector and giving it readable “emotions”. The following 38 emoji variations were submitted by various people as a response to my request and later on got incorporated into the keyboard.
