An experienced sales and health care professional, Zariq Siddiqui has served as the nutrition products senior manager of sales operation and strategy at Abbott Laboratories, Inc., since 2013. Zariq Siddiqui also supports a number of charities, like Unbound. 

Established as the Christian Foundation for Children in 1981, Unbound works in conjunction with families and small groups in need throughout the world to fight poverty. With the understanding that communities can provide the lasting structure necessary for long-term change and that families are best equipped to identify their own obstacles and solutions, the organization regularly offers support for a decade or more. Consequently, Unbound sees results at the individual, community, and global levels, and continues to customize its programs to achieve the best possible results.

One of Unbound’s focused programs is the Unbound Scholarship Program, which goes beyond what sponsorship funds provide. Students applying for the competitive scholarships must take part in service projects, display community leadership, and achieve satisfactory grades. Designed to cover books, supplies, and tuition, the program’s scholarships also allow children to continue their educations at universities or technical schools. 

Interested supporters may make targeted donations to specifically fund the scholarships, or any other of Unbound’s programs.
