Hands on Web Design
Project Brief:
My website has been through a few different iterations over the past several years. I keep improving, and trying out new technology as I learn. I wanted to have a clear call to action, briefly tell why a potential client should choose me, and feature my best work.

Solution:
This site is built on WordPress using the 2010 theme as a parent to my custom child theme. It is the first time trying that, and there was so much customization, I wish I had not gone that route. I have also made use of CSS3 techniques and jQuery.

All the images on the site were created by me using either Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. To keep page loads down, I tried to use CSS-sprites and just plain CSS as much as possible.

The home page has two unique instances of the WordPress Loop. The testimonial section is part of a custom post type for my clients. On each page load, one of the available testimonials is served up randomly.
