In the summer of 2012, I worked with the Central Indiana Community to develop visual elements to aid in communicating complex information in a simple way for their Martindale Brightwood Promise Neighborhoods proposal. Often grant proposals are so wordy and complex that one can become disconnected with the real purpose of it all. The design for the Martindale Brightwood Promise Neighborhoods grant proposal serves as a simple reminder of that purpose—the children.
