Threadless.com once hosted a typography context for "Foreign Phrases", back in 2016. While the word below has no connection to that topic, I just happened to stumble over this idea while brainstorming on some phrase designs. 

The word below reads 'DISGUISE' and these are some initial scribbles over Bamboo Paper on my iPad Pro.
