This artwork reveals the predestined human condition to suffering during its lifetime. In order to understand personal pains, one has to get deeper and deeper in his soul and try analysing various states of mind and finding explanations for them. This artwork reveals a face without a face which expresses a loss, a lack of identity from several points of view. This negative aspect is balanced by the presence of an eye, that is positioned on the surface of the neck. This refers to the chakra of neck, also known as Vishuddha, which is the symbol of communication between the physical and the spiritual world.

Scream the last scream
Painting: Oil on Canvas.
Size: 110 H x 90 W x 2 cm
This composition reveals a figurative-abstract screaming figure whose concept is based on the contrast between closed and opened eyes. The portrait in the background is only suggested through some discreet brushstrokes and its opened eyes are overlaped by twoo small closed yellow transposed eyes. This transposition reflects a moral disorder which is synonym to insanity. The opened eyes are the expression of suffering and the closed eyes refer to the intention of internalization this pain.
Introversion
Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.
Size: 70 H x 50 W x 2 cm
This artwork was inspired by one of German artist Käthe Kollwitz's photographs. The intention consisted in choosing a specific detail and interpreting it from a technical and conceptual point of view. I tried to express the depression she suffered from due to the tragic events from the first world war, by painting only her eyes on a monochromatic background, so that the viewer could focus better on this facial detail.Violet colour is the symbol of introvertion, of self-knowledge and of talking to oneself, to one's deepest feelings.

Illusions
Size: 100 H x 100 W x 2 cm
Painting: Oil on Canvas.
Smile and look can become sometimes pure illusions, because honesty is such a fragile and rare feeling who seems to be lost forever.. People look at each other, but they don't actually see, they are smiling at the others, but they have a fake smile.
