After watch Sling Blade I decided to do a quick sketch of Billy Bob Thornton's character. Particularly I wanted to do a cartoon-likeness approach just sculpting the facial expression but soon I started to think in a storytelling image and couldn't resist to take it further. I'm learning a lot in the process, things like painting and shading the skin and testing ways to create the hair.
