How to Backup & Restore Outlook Data File (.pst) in Different Applications

- Open Outlook 2016 or 2013

The list of configured email accounts (and imported files) will appear. Select the one you want to export. Note : only one email account can be exported at once. For exporting multiple user accounts, repeat the process again.
Select the check box “Include Sub Folders” for importing all the data in sub folders and click on Next.
- In the next window, browse for the location to save the exported PST file. Type a file name and finally click OK.
From the three options provided, select the one you want and finally click on Finish button.
Outlook will start the export process and will prompt you to enter a password for it. Type the password or leave it blank of you want none and click OK.
Once all the process is finished, you will get all your Outlook data in .pst file.
Steps to Restore PST file in Outlook
- Go to File Menu appearing on the Menu bar.
- Click Open & Export >> Open Outlook Data File
- Go to the location of your saved PST file, select it and click OK button.
