COLLECTION I: ODD INDIGO

Inspired by the accidental manipulation and destruction of film photographs and how it connects with the manipulation of denim. All denim garments were created from thrifted denim jeans & skirts. Each piece was cut from the jeans and bleached. Some pieces were then dyed one to five times to achieve the exact coloring of specific photograph defects.

^^^*BEGINNING PROCESS*^^^ Instead of keeping seam finishes on the inside I brought them to the outside, top stitched each one to keep them from fraying, and then frayed each seam up until the top stitching line. Featured on all pieces.
