"Silence of Mother Russia"
Created at the end of 2016, I started this piece with the intend to show the strength and struggles of Russia. I find Russia to be a beautiful country not only because of the beautiful landscapes and amazing music and culture, but mostly because of the people. The Russian people have always been a strong folk persevering through any dictator, cold winters and any rough times. Many people Alienate Russians because of some of the hatred thowards the LGBTQ+ Community that is happening in Russia. What they dont understand is that there is no information, no classes, no safe groups in Russia to learn all about the LGBTQ+ Community, hatred has been incorporated into their hearts and anyone who tries to stray from this will be alienated, harrassed and sometimes even killed because of this. The goverment is trying to silence its people. I believe Russians are a great and prominent people who have endured so much yet the majority of them do still have a good heart.
